Details: PITT OHIO, a $ 312 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Health & Wellness Coordinator at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.This position provides a unique and rewarding opportunity available for an innovative and knowledgeable health and wellness leader who will create and direct a health and wellness vision for our company.The incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation across the enterprise of a broad range of health and wellness programs and initiatives. The coordinator will be responsible for management reporting to communicate program goals, initiatives and progress to all levels of the organization. Additionally, he/she will motivate and mentor our management team and wellness advocates to fully participate in program objectives and to achieve various wellness goals.Responsibilites:? Develop and implement health and wellness initiatives at 21 terminal locations and corporate? Provide education and instruction on health and wellness programs to employees and family members in group and one-on-one presentations? Provide physical fitness assessments and personal counseling as requested? Provide direction and coordinate travel schedules to independent contractor health and fitness trainers? Provide leadership to the corporate wellness committee? Implement and evaluate personal training programs for employees? Provide direction to the terminal wellness advocates in fitness/wellness program planning, development, implementation and evaluation? Provide new employee orientations to our health and wellness programs? Assist with on-going marketing/promotional efforts? Maintain confidential records of program participants? Review workplace injury analysis report and develop programs to improve performance? Attend staff meetings in human resources and safety departments? Maintain a high level of communication to senior management of Pitt Ohio and present management updates to health and wellness goals? Develop metrics to measure the success of health and wellness initiatives? Maintain a high level of teamwork and cooperation with fellow employees?
